He had no money with him, had no slippers and was wearing only a short and a shirt. The chill of the evening was too much for such skimpy clothing but the heat of his mind was too much to bother about the chill and issues. He was feeling free standing outside the backyard of his house. He ran fast without any direction to simply get away from his house. He reached the railway track and sat there to decide what to do next.
Shivram was the village school teacher and was always advocating for better education amongst the poor farmers. He himself was unmarried and decided to remain single for the rest of his life. His life was dedicated to educating poor village boys and girls.

1Conditions in villages in India remain the same today. It is number of helping hands and not the studies which matter. Your father rebelled 60 years back for studies is really a brave thing to do.
