Shivram – The school teacher was kind enough to provide my father with a blanket and a proper bed to sleep for the night and also feed him with whatever he had at hand. School master Shivram took my father to the nearby town of Pipriach which was about fifty kilometers from Gorakhpur and got him admitted in his secondary school. He enrolled him has his ward and ensured that he got a residential room in the school compound where he can live, cook and study as well. It was two days effort for Shivram to have my father settled in the school with complete arrangement for studies. Money however remained a major problem. My father got the monthly money order at his home and if he had to study, money was essential. Therefore after three days of getting school admission, he decided to visit his home and see if things can be settled. From inside he was still at unease for running away and thought of his father worrying about him kept coming in his mind. He also was worried about Chandra who would certainly be crying for him. He made up his mind to make a visit back home and see if things can be made normal. This would help him a lot in concentrating on his studies.
